The Bottle of Wine

For all of us who are married, were married, wish you were married, or wish you weren’t married, this is something to smile about the next time you see a bottle of wine:

Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona  when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road.

As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car

and asked the Navajo woman if she would like

a ride.

With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car.

Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make  a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old woman just sat silently,    looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally.

‘What in bag?’ asked the old woman.

Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, ‘It’s a bottle of wine . I got it for my husband.’

The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two.

Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said:

‘Good trade…..’

Clouds Clouds Go Away

Clouds Clouds Go Away and Come Again Some Other day!
Another dreary cloudy day here in the North Counry thanks to the remnants of Faye making it’s way up North.  We have had very little rain but it has been cloudy and breezy.
Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone and wish you all a HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND!  I hope everyone has some fun and excitement planned or maybe just a nice break to enjoy some time off.
Well…I’m off; got places to go, things to do, and people to see and talk to!
Have a glistening sunshiny day!

The Law Of Attraction

Thank You My Friends

Thank you my dear friends for all of your kind comments!
I am still a bit nauseated but the back pain seems to have moved to just the right side, so I am doing better today than yesterday.
I am  truly blessed to have such caring and thoughtful friends!

Good Wishes to all my Friends

Hello All:
Not feeling that great today…getting over some kind of bug and I hurt my back again yesterday so I’ve been spending as much time as I can on a heating pad…in between chasing after Emma, of course.
Just wanted you all to know I was thinking of you and sprinkling a little fairy dust hoping that all your dreams come true!
Never stop dreaming, hoping and wishing!

Happy Birthday Dad…We Didn’t Forget

We Thought Of You Today

We thought of you today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday
And will tomorrow, too.

We think of you in silence
And make no outward show.
For what it meant to lose you
Only those who love you know.

Remembering you is easy,
We do it everyday.
It’s the heartache of losing you
That will never go away.

In Loving Memory Of Ronald Gross

I love you Dad and think of you always!
