Golden Halo

The last few nights, the moon has been spectacular, but I always have trouble getting a good picture of it.  Tonight when we were cooking some steaks on the grill, the moon appeared through the trees and it was just beautiful.

Then when I walked out on the road to get away from the tree line, I couldn’t believe the huge halo around moon; it took my breath away.

These photos in no way give justice to just how amazing it looked in the sky…as if God had painted it just for me.

I hope everyone had at least one golden moment in their lives today.

Good Night  Moon!

The moon has been wonderful to observe (and photograph) hasn\’t it? That\’s one thing I miss about summer when it gets warm enoug: walking in the moonlight when everything is bathed in silver and it\’s still so warm…I can\’t wait!

Beautiful captures of the moon with the halo. Love your photos and how you see things. I believe God shows us all special things in His Creation when we look for them. I also think He uses certain things and moments in time to show us something special like halo\’s and even zebra\’s caught in a special embrase, shows us how much God loves us and His Creation. Take care and have a good week. xx\’s Dianne 🙂

Hello Rhonda.Hope all is well.Very beautiful pictures. When I was a child,I was told, when the moon looked like that, it was God\’s Eye.As an adult realize that it is the formation of crystals, etc…Part of me,still likes to consider it God\’s Eye,it\’s a pleasant memory of days gone by.Wishing you a great evening and a fantastic week.

Hi Rhonda: WOW those pictures are beautiful and you really did the moon justice. My hubby pointed it out to me just as it was getting dusky and what a wonderful moon. I said you know what they say about a full moon and preceded to let out a howl and the look on his face was priceless. It must be these warm couple of days we have been having but I just feel silly and full of fun. Must be that spring is in the air. Have a great week hun……………Rusty ((HUGS))
