A Little of This and a Little of That

Life is so hectic and there is always to much to do but I wanted to take a few minutes to catch everyone one up on what’s new in my world:

Saturday the weather was sunny and 45 degrees, so we took Emma to the park so she could get some fresh air.  Little did we know that on top of the hills of the Park the wind was whipping making it feel like a blustery January day so we only did a quick stroll and then headed back to the warmth of the car.  I managed to take a few photos before my hands were frozen…as you can see, there is still not a leaf to be found on the trees; I think Spring must be making us her last stop of the season.

Next stop was McDonalds for a treat before heading home.

That evening, Emma colored Easter Eggs and was quite pleased with her masterpieces.

Easter Sunday Emma was very happy with her little basket of goodies and, of course, the hat was her favorite thing.

Emma has had a bad cold that got worse over the weekend, so I took her back to Doctor today and she has a sinus infection and the beginning of an ear infection in both ears.  They changed her antibiotic so I hope it gives her some relief because Emma and Mommy are both in need of a good night’s sleep.  She was so sleepy yesterday morning that she fell asleep in the chair reading her book.

In the past two weeks, I have lost my Driver’s License, totally destroyed my glasses and still haven’t found the missing lens, and went to the drug store today to get two prescriptions filled that I didn’t realize had NO REFILLS.  Oh yes, and my buttons I my cell phone stopped working so I had to order a new one and return the screwed up one just to realize that after I dropped it off at UPS I forgot to include the antitheft sticker and the phone identififer information…ugh!!!

I think the stress I’ve been under and the lack of sleep has finally won the battle.   I’m praying that Emma and I will be making a trip to Dream Land tonight…keep your fingers crossed.

         Sweet Dreams Litte Emma…

Poor wee Emma, I hope she feels better soon. It is no fun being sick at any time and I know how you feel dear. When Terry was little she used to get earaches a lot but they would usually go away after giving her a baby Aspirin and I would put a little Vicks Medicated Vapo-rub on a piece of cotton and put it in her ear and that would help too. When her daughter was small she had to have tubes put in her ears because she used to get ear infections all the time and sore throats. She finally outgrew them and the tubes fell out on their own. Hope you both get some well deserved rest tonight.Hang in there sweety, I am praying for you. God bless. Love ya hun……………Rusty ((HUGS))

Hope that Emma, feels better soon.No joy in having ear infections or sinus problems at any age. When things go wrong in life, hard to see the trees from the forest. But,there is still good going on in both your lives\’.Case in point, you have picci evidence of it,in this blog.Quality time spent with Emma coloring eggs. The ability to provide, and share in her excitement of Easter Morning. Some girl\’s time, spent at a MacDonald\’s.Don\’t forget life\’s simple pleasures, cuz everything else is complicated, and not worth the time of day.Another thing to appreciate, which can also be found in your blog,is the "pigerrific one" stopped by to visit you.How lucky is that ?!? LOL !!! Hope you both get the sleep you need.If you can\’t sleep, try counting sheep.Don\’t count Piggy\’s,as they will keep you awake all night with bad jokes, and /or impure thoughts.LOL !!! Okay,I\’m getting sick of me too.Be well,be good to you,God bless.Peace.~ Piggy ~

She is a doll. Looks like you had a wonderful Easter. When Sissy was that age she would plunge her whole hand in the cup with dye and dig the egg out. Come Sunday morning at church there was always a trace of egg dye from the night before still on her hands. My prayers are with you for a good nights sleep. I hope she feels better soon

Poor baby … I just hate when a little one is so sick. But it looks like she had a wonderful Easter. I\’ll say a little prayer for you both — to be rid of all the bugs and get some nice weather. Can\’t have y\’all sick going into Spring! Hang in there. It\’s just bound to start looking up really soon.
